Genesis10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Developer for a contract position with a Manufacturing Company located in Monroe, NC. This role is for a versatile Full Stack Developer with strong .NET and Microsoft SQL Server experience. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain Windows-based and web applications, work with relational databases, and integrate applications via REST APIs. This role requires a hands-on developer who can contribute across the full development lifecycle while also supporting database administration activities as needed. Experience with C#, WinForms, WPF, Blazor, and .NET MAUI is highly desirable.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem, including WinForms, WPF, Blazor, and .NET MAUI
- Develop and maintain desktop and web applications to support business and operational requirements
- Manage and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performing database troubleshooting
- Assist with database administration activities, including performance monitoring, maintenance, data integrity, and troubleshooting
- Develop, consume, and maintain REST APIs to facilitate communication between applications and external systems
- Use Git and GitHub for source control, version management, and collaborative development
- Write and maintain Python scripts, primarily for integration and automation within the Ignition platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver effective technical solutions
- Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and iterative delivery
- Support application deployment, environment configuration, and containerization using Docker when required
- Troubleshoot application and database issues and implement solutions to improve system reliability and performance
Requirements: - Strong hands-on experience with C# and the .NET development ecosystem
- Experience developing applications using one or more of the following technologies: WinForms, WPF, Blazor, and .NET MAUI
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL queries, stored procedures, database design, and performance optimization
- Experience using Git and GitHub for source control and collaborative development
- Knowledge of REST APIs, including API development, integration, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and business stakeholders
Desired skills: - Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational database technologies
- Python scripting experience, particularly within the Ignition platform
- Experience with Docker and containerized application deployments
- Exposure to database administration, maintenance, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or operational applications is a plus
