Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to design, develop, and lead
the implementation of modern cloud-based data platforms for our Financial Services clients. The
ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Snowflake, cloud technologies, data engineering
best practices, and enterprise-scale data warehousing solutions. This role requires strong
technical leadership, architecture experience, and the ability to drive data modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implementation of scalable data warehouse and data lake solutions using
Snowflake.
Develop and optimize complex ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, Python, and
cloud-native tools.
Architect data integration solutions across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured
data sources.
Drive migration of legacy data platforms to Snowflake-based cloud architectures.
Implement data modeling solutions including dimensional modeling and Data Vault
methodologies.
Establish best practices for data governance, security, performance tuning, and cost
optimization.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and data scientists to deliver
data solutions.
Design and implement data quality, lineage, monitoring, and auditing frameworks.
Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
Mentor and guide data engineering teams while driving project delivery and technical
excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Data Architecture.
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
Expertise in SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT development.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and distributed systems.
Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Azure Data Factory (ADF),
Informatica, or similar.
Hands-on experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and Snowflake
administration.

Strong understanding of data security, governance, and compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Snowflake Certifications.
Experience working within the Financial Services domain including Banking, Insurance,
Capital Markets, or Wealth Management.
Experience with dbt, Matillion, or other modern ELT tools.
Knowledge of Snowflake features including Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, and
Zero-Copy Cloning.
Experience with real-time data integration, Kafka, and streaming architectures.
Exposure to AI/ML data platforms and MLOps frameworks.
Familiarity with Financial Services regulatory and compliance standards.
