CTG is seeking to fill a Wireless Engineer, Strategic Technology position for our client.
Location: Morrisville, NC
Duration: 12+ months, with possibility for extension
Duties:- Research and evaluate emerging wireless technologies, including 5G/5G Advanced, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, satellite communications, UWB, and RF/antenna technologies.
- Support wireless technology testing, analysis, prototyping, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, technology partners, and vendors to evaluate new connectivity solutions and industry trends.
- Develop technical demonstrations and recommendations supporting future product development.
- Assist with wireless certification, carrier approval, and regulatory requirements.
- Document technical findings and communicate results to technical and business stakeholders.
Skills:- Wireless communications, RF, antennas, networking, and connectivity technologies.
- Knowledge of cellular/5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, satellite, UWB, or IoT technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with engineering tools, scripting, or data analysis is a plus.
Experience:- Internship, academic project, research, or professional experience in wireless engineering, RF engineering, antennas, networking, embedded systems, or IoT preferred.
- Experience with testing, prototyping, technology evaluation, or proof-of-concept development is a plus.
Education:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
