Position Summary: As a Senior Statistical Analysis Software Platform Activity Support specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting, maintaining, and optimizing statistical analysis software platforms critical to the delivery of business insights and analytics solutions. DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide expert-level support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for statistical analysis software platforms (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS, Python-based environments).
- Monitor platform performance, ensure high availability, and proactively resolve incidents and technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement software updates, patches, and enhancements while minimizing downtime.
- Assist in the integration of statistical analysis tools with enterprise data sources and reporting solutions.
- Develop and execute platform activity reports, usage analytics, and capacity planning documentation.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, license management, and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and technology partners for issue resolution and service improvement.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience supporting and administering statistical analysis software platforms in an enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in SAS, R, SPSS, or equivalent statistical software, with a strong understanding of installation, configuration, and maintenance procedures.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, PowerShell) for automation and platform management.
- Solid grasp of Linux/UNIX and Windows operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Relevant certifications in statistical software platforms or IT infrastructure (e.g., SAS Certified Platform Administrator, ITIL).
- Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms or containerization technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Docker).
- Familiarity with data security standards and compliance frameworks.
- Background in supporting large-scale analytics or data science projects.
Job Summary
As a SAS Infrastructure Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the administration, support, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of SAS platforms and infrastructure. You will ensure the availability, performance, security, and reliability of SAS environments that support enterprise analytics, reporting, data management, and business intelligence workloads. The role involves infrastructure administration, incident management, platform upgrades, performance tuning, and collaboration with application, database, server, and cloud teams to maintain a stable and scalable analytics ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, monitor, and support SAS Platform environments including development, testing, and production.Manage SAS server infrastructure, services, and platform components to ensure high availability and system stability.Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and migration activities for SAS applications and infrastructure.Troubleshoot platform outages, performance issues, connectivity failures, and system-related incidents.Monitor resource utilization, job execution, batch processing, and system performance.Support user access management, authentication, authorization, and security configurations.Collaborate with application, database, network, and infrastructure teams to resolve platform-related issues.Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and platform optimization activities.Manage incidents, service requests, changes, and problem records through ServiceNow in accordance with ITIL processes.Develop and maintain operational documentation, installation guides, support procedures, and knowledge articles.Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.Participate in platform modernization, automation, and cloud migration initiatives.Provide on-call support and assist with major incident management when required.

Other Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in SAS Infrastructure Administration and Support.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Experience supporting mission-critical analytics and reporting platforms.Ability to work effectively in global support and delivery environments.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience with Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Improvement practices.SAS Administration, Linux Administration, or Cloud certifications are preferred.Familiarity with healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, financial services, or other regulated industries is desirable.Exposure to cloud-native analytics platforms, AI/ML environments, and data engineering ecosystems is an added advantage.
