Pay Range: $65 - $68/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize complex Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Write efficient SQL queries and tune performance for large datasets.
- Work with business and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Perform data analysis, data validation, and troubleshooting of production issues.
- Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts for automation and batch processing.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and adherence to banking compliance standards.
- Support production deployments and release activities.
- Monitor and manage AutoSys job schedules, troubleshoot job failures, and ensure successful batch processing.
- Participate in code reviews and follow SDLC best practices.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Strong experience in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.
- Hands-on experience with AutoSys job scheduling and monitoring.
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Strong Shell Scripting skills (Korn/Bash preferred).
- Experience in SQL query and PL/SQL performance tuning.
- Ability to debug production issues in batch processing environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Banking or financial domain experience.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise database systems.
- Knowledge of job scheduling and workload automation tools.
- Basic understanding of version control tools (Git, SVN).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
