We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This exciting role will have you working on a variety of complex tasks related to our production machinery and equipment. Your day-to-day will involve preventive maintenance, equipment calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, CNC machine operation, and mechanical systems will be vital in this role. This position offers a challenging and rewarding environment where you can make a significant impact on our operations and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to minimize downtime.
2. Operate CNC machines and conduct regular checks to ensure optimal performance.
3. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
4. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments as necessary.
5. Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
6. Perform regular checks and calibrations on equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
7. Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to understand how to fix machines and equipment.
8. Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems as well as mechanical and electrical systems to identify issues and implement solutions.
9. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
3. Proficiency in operating CNC machines.
4. Experience in preventive maintenance and equipment calibration.
5. Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
6. Proficient in troubleshooting and machine repair.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
9. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Physical stamina and ability to lift or move heavy equipment or machinery.
