Provide L3 production support for Java/J2EE applications in a 24x7 or on-call support environment.

Analyze and resolve complex application incidents, production defects, and performance issues.

Perform detailed root-cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective actions.

Troubleshoot Java application issues including exceptions, memory problems, thread issues, connectivity failures, and application crashes.

Review application logs using tools such as Splunk, ELK, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or similar monitoring platforms.

Troubleshoot REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, integrations, and backend services.

Analyze database-related issues and execute SQL queries for troubleshooting and data validation.

Work with Oracle/MySQL/SQL Server/PostgreSQL or other relational databases.

Debug Java and Spring/Spring Boot code and provide code-level fixes when required.

Support applications deployed on WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss/EAP, or cloud platforms.

Monitor application health, system performance, batch jobs, interfaces, and scheduled processes.

Collaborate with Development, DevOps, Infrastructure, Database, QA, and Business teams for incident resolution.

Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.

Support production deployments, releases, patches, and emergency fixes.

Identify recurring issues and recommend automation or process improvements.

Prepare and maintain RCA documents, support procedures, runbooks, and technical documentation.

Participate in production release validation and post-deployment monitoring.

Follow ITIL processes and meet defined SLA/KPI requirements.

5+ years of experience in Java application development and production support.
-
Strong experience with Java/J2EE and Spring/Spring Boot.
-
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
-
Experience supporting REST APIs and microservices.
-
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
-
Hands-on experience with application and server logs.
-
Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or ELK.

Experience with Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting.

Understanding of JVM, memory management, garbage collection, thread dumps, heap dumps, and performance troubleshooting.

Experience with production incident management and RCA/problem management.
-
Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, and deployment processes.

Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
