L2 Embedded Software Production Support Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an L2 Embedded Software Production Support Engineer in New York, NY.

Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Embedded Software Production Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support for complex software and embedded system environments. This role will serve as an escalation point for production issues, working closely with customers, support teams, and engineering organizations to troubleshoot, reproduce, and resolve technical challenges.

Responsibilities:
* Investigate and troubleshoot complex software and system issues
* Reproduce defects and perform root cause analysis
* Manage escalated support cases and drive issues to resolution
* Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve product defects
* Analyze logs, diagnostics, and system configurations
* Communicate technical findings and status updates to stakeholders
* Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience supporting software applications, embedded systems, or technical products in a production environment
* Experience managing escalations and complex technical issues
* Experience collaborating with engineering and product teams
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
* Strong customer-facing communication skills
* Ability to reproduce software defects and identify root causes

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
