Job Description:
Essential Job Functions:
Manage data architecture projects and teams, ensuring they align with business objectives.
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and engineers to implement data solutions.
Participate in defining data requirements and data strategies.
Implement data governance and quality standards to maintain data integrity.
Support the development of data roadmaps and ensure alignment with data standards.
Mentor and guide junior staff in data architecture best practices.
Contribute to data security efforts and compliance with data protection regulations.
Prepare and present reports on data architecture project progress to department heads.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Typically, 8+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3+ years in a similar role
Proven experience in data architecture and management
Proficiencies in data modeling, data warehousing, ETL processes, and database technologies
Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
Other Qualifications:
Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, CDMP, or similar are a plus
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $158,300 - $293,900.
Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
