RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is seeking in Northbrook, IL an experienced Senior IT Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead complex technology procurement and sourcing initiatives across a diverse IT portfolio.
Summary:
This role requires a strategic thinker and skilled negotiator who can effectively partner with executive leadership, drive sourcing excellence, optimize supplier relationships, and deliver measurable business value through innovative procurement strategies. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background negotiating enterprise-level agreements with major technology providers such as Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Salesforce, and ServiceNow, as well as leading consulting and professional services engagements with large systems integrators and technology service providers.
REQUIREMENTS:
* CPSM, CPM, PMP, or related professional certification
* Experience supporting global procurement or sourcing organizations
* Knowledge of software licensing models, cloud contracting, and enterprise technology procurement practices
* Experience negotiating high-value, complex technology agreements with major vendors such as Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Salesforce, and ServiceNow preferred
* Experience negotiating consulting and staffing agreements with providers such as Accenture, Infosys, Deloitte, Cognizant, TCS, or similar organizations preferred
* Strong understanding of sourcing best practices, supplier management, contract negotiations, and commercial terms
* Proven track record of driving significant and sustainable cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives
* Ability to analyze and interpret spend data to identify opportunities, support business objectives, and develop category strategies
* Experience independently managing complex sourcing projects and solving business challenges through innovative approaches
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
* Comfortable engaging with and presenting recommendations to senior leadership and C-suite executives
* Strong organizational, process management, documentation, and time-management skills
* High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
