Systems Engineering & Cyber Solutions Specialist
Deliver high-impact, multidisciplinary engineering and cybersecurity solutions that directly power the 557th Software Engineering Squadron (557 SWES). In this vital technical role, you will manage cutting-edge software development enclaves and provide critical engineering, acquisition, and program management support to key System Program Offices (SPOs) across the defense enterprise.

Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.
- May occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
- May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours.
- Obtain and Maintain Cyberspace qualification.

Recruitment Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of the principles, methods, and practices for integrating information system components sufficient to plan, coordinate, and administer computer systems, and optimize system performance.
2. Knowledge of the latest advancements in technology to initiate corrective or preventative action to ensure optimum performance of the system.
3. Knowledge of performance tuning tools, database management, and project management methods sufficient to optimize systems performance, troubleshoot database performance problems, and perform a wide range of
systems administration functions.
4. Knowledge of operating systems, associated devices, and the interoperability of systems sufficient to install, upgrade, troubleshoot, test, and maintain those systems; to optimize the functionality and performance of systems; and to ensure the availability, integrity, efficiency, and reliability of servers.
5. Ability to apply methods and practices for troubleshooting, recovering, adjusting, modifying, and improving systems to solve complex problems and provide support that minimizes interruptions in service to customers.
