Our client, a leading electronic security and integrated technology solutions provider, is seeking a Security Installerto join their team. As a Security Installer, you will be responsible for installing, programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning complex security systems including access control, CCTV, video recording, and intercom systems. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in the field.
Job Title: Security Installer
Location: Omaha, NE
Pay Range: $21.00 - $30.00/hour
What\'s the Job?
\t- Install and program integrated security systems including Access Control, CCTV, DVRs, NVRs, and Intercom Systems. \t
- Install, route, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling according to NEC, company, and customer standards. \t
- Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and test security equipment to ensure proper operation. \t
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation. \t
- Conduct customer training and complete all required project documentation and paperwork.
What\'s Needed?
\t- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. \t
- 3+ years of experience with Digital and Analog CCTV Camera Systems. \t
- 3+ years of experience with Access Control Systems. \t
- 2+ years of experience with IP-addressable security devices and advanced TCP/IP networking. \t
- Valid driver\'s license with an acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
\t- Associate Degree or completion of a Technical School Program. \t
- Industry-recognized apprenticeship training. \t
- Certifications in Access Control, CCTV Analog, CCTV IP, or Visitor Management. \t
- MCSE, CCNA, or related networking certifications. \t
- Experience with Surveillance Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems, and Security Gate Operators.
