We are seeking an experienced Epic Security Analyst to support Epic EHR security, user access, configuration, and identity management.
Required Skills
- Epic Security Certification – Required
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Hands-on experience with Epic User Security and Schedulable Epic Resources.
- Experience managing EMP, SER, ECL, PGP, user templates and subtemplates.
- Strong experience with Epic Security Build and Configuration.
- Experience with user account lifecycle management – provisioning, modification, auditing, and inactivation.
- Experience with RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and Identity Governance.
- Experience troubleshooting Epic security, access, and workflow issues.
- Experience supporting Epic upgrades, implementations, testing, and optimization.
- Experience with Epic Application Template Build.
- Knowledge of healthcare security, access controls, and Minimum Necessary standards.
- Experience generating Reporting Workbench and ad-hoc reports is preferred.
- Additional Epic application certification is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, test, and optimize Epic security configurations.
- Manage Epic user and provider records and access throughout their lifecycle.
- Support RBAC, identity governance, security audits, and access reviews.
- Partner with application teams and stakeholders on Epic implementations and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot security and workflow issues and provide production support.
- Maintain security documentation and authorization records.
- Identify process improvements and provide guidance on Epic security best practices.
