Job Overview:
Pay Range: $50.00hr - $55.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Hands on experience on Oracle PL/SQL / MS-SQL including working with indexes and performance tuning.
- Hands on working experience in Linux and Shell Scripts.
- Experience working on complex Data Extraction and Loading nested programs created using Oracle PL/SQL and Shell Scripts.
- Exposure to ITSM processes including Incidents, Service Requests, Problem Management, and Change Management.
- Exposure to root cause analysis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex Data Extraction and Loading nested programs using Oracle PL/SQL and Shell Scripts.
- Perform performance tuning and work with indexes in Oracle PL/SQL and MS-SQL environments.
- Execute tasks within Linux environments using Shell Scripts.
- Adhere to ITSM processes for Incidents, Service Requests, Problem Management, and Change Management.
- Conduct root cause analysis for technical issues.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to any ETL process.
- Exposure to any reporting tool.
- Exposure to any file transfer or data transfer mechanism.
- Exposure to any Job Scheduling tool such as Autosys Workload Automation, BMC Control M, or RunMyJobs by Redwood.
- Exposure to Agile Projects.
- Exposure to ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or HP ALM.
