Java Backend Developer with SQL

Role: Java Backend Developer

Location: Remote

Need to take an assessment test before the Zoom video technical screening call.

• Someone with intermediate - senior skills (not junior, not a lead)
• Experience/established history of delivering Java/SQL solutions in a large environment
• High confidence hire because the hiring manager is not pleased with the current engineer
• Will do assessments before zoom

Qualifications

Strong background in object-oriented design with Java and Spring Boot

Proficiency with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and MongoDB

Experience with Python for automation and scripting

Experience with AI tools and prompt engineering to maximize development efficiency

Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, version control, and CI/CD technologies

Familiarity with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, and event-driven architectures

Familiarity with microservice architectures and deployment containers

5 7+ years of experience designing, implementing, and delivering large-scale solutions

Bachelor s or Master s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
