RESPONSIBILITIES * Use electric soldering equipment to the IPC-A-610B, Class 3 standard * Cut, prepare and pre-tin wires, prepare batteries, Apply conformal coat, marking and adhesive bonding * Follow written and verbal instructions * Complete work according to instructions, specifications and procedures, under direct and/or limited supervision * Perform a variety of complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and procedures * Conduct inspections of own and/or other associates work to insure correctness in accordance with company and/or customer drawing * Maintain a clean and orderly workstation adhering to 6S standards * Maintain an acceptable attendance and safety record * Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures * Additional job duties and tasks as needed * Assist other departments with job duties, tasks, training, and development as needed * Complete additional job duties and tasks as assigned and instructed by Lead Tech / Supervisor QUALIFICATIONS Education: Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience Experience: Minimum of 2 years prior work experience in an electronics/manufacturing environment or completed OJT training for at least 5 products Skills: * Able to read and comprehend regulations and instructions in English * Effective oral and written communication * Must be able to work all shifts and available for overtime and weekends as needed * Proficient in using the tools, equipment, and inspection aids applicable to the scope of work assigned * Use hand tools, power tools and electric soldering gun * Lift and Carry up to 30lbs * Able and willing to comply with Drug-Free Workplace policies and pass all related drug/alcohol screenings * Able to perform complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operation * Capable of solving problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents or procedures * Skilled at simple welding tasks and/or brazing, or soldering * Ability to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and procedures * Experience with MS Office Suite * Good manual dexterity required to work with small parts Candidate Requirement: Candidate must pass a hands-on assessment to be moved to the in-person interview stage of the recruitment process. Candidates unable to pass the assessment will not move forward in the process.
