Strategic Events Manager
Location: Palo Alto, CA Work from Office: 3 Days a week
Duration: 6months+
JD:
About the Role client is looking for a Strategic Events Manager, Campaigns to own end-to-end campaign planning for Strategic Events. This person will be the connective tissue between client's flagship event moments our annual user conference, quarterly virtual summits, and Tier 1 third-party tradeshows and the demand generation engine that drives registrations, pipeline, and brand awareness around them.
You understand how events work: how to plan them, promote them, and drive attendance. You're well versed in setting registration targets, building the multi-channel plan to hit it, and ensuring the cross-functional team is accountable. You bring structure to ambiguity building repeatable playbooks rather than reinventing the promo plan for every event while still finding creative, out-of-the-box ways to build hype internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities
In partnership with the Strategic Events Manager, own end-to-end campaign planning and delivery to bring client's Strategic Events to market, including but not limited to:
Own and manage the demand generation strategy, planning, and execution for strategic events
Build and maintain a repeatable promotional playbook for clients -hosted and third-party events, so every event launches from a proven framework rather than a blank page. Including post-event follow-up plans, lead routing, etc.
Partner with key stakeholders across Web, Digital, Field Marketing, MOPs, and Inside Sales to set registration targets and develop the plans needed to achieve them.
Own and maintain the GTM promo calendar for each event, soliciting input from key cross-functional stakeholders and ensuring on-time execution.
Own and run weekly promo sync calls, keeping cross-functional partners aligned and accountable to the plan.
Operate with a test-and-learn mindset; consistently measure, report on, and iterate on promo performance across channels and events.
Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of Marketing demand generation experience, including demand generation or integrated campaign management at a B2B company.
Events background: Strong understanding of how events work, with hands-on experience planning, promoting, and executing them from hosted conferences to major third-party tradeshows.
Master project manager with immaculate attention to detail and the ability to run multiple concurrent event promo cycles.
Highly creative strategist as much as an execution powerhouse able to bring fresh, out-of-the-box ideas to both internal hype-building and external promotion.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on registration, pipeline, and ROI metrics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present plans and results to stakeholders and executives.
Standout cross-functional collaborator, with the relationship-building skills to align Web, Digital, Field, Sales, and Marketing Operations around a shared plan.
