ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a skilled and experienced
Automation Test Engineer II to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing solutions. This role requires a deeper understanding of automation frameworks and the ability to lead testing efforts for complex features and systems.
Responsibilities:- Design and implement scalable and maintainable automated test frameworks using Tricentis Tosca and other tools.
- Analyze business and functional requirements related to P&C insurance systems and translate them into effective automated test strategies and plans.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, API testing, accessibility testing across web and backend systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and product owners to ensure test coverage and quality.
- Execute automated test cases, log defects, and track them to closure using Azure DevOps.
- Develop automated tests for APIs, UI, and backend systems.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and review their test scripts.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Maintain test documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across QA teams.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the P&C insurance domain
- 3-5 years of experience in test automation.
- Proficiency in test automation tools, with a strong emphasis on Tricentis Tosca and Playwright; experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks is also preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL for backend/database testing.
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Strong understanding of Agile QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Optional Certifications (Preferred but not required):- Tricentis Tosca Automation Specialist Level 1 & 2
- ISTQB Certified Tester - Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer
- Certified Agile Tester (CAT)
- Certified Jenkins Engineer (CJE)
- Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional
Salary Range $56,000.00 - $130,000.00
In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, this range represents a good-faith estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, credentials, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
