Genesis10 is currently seeking a Mainframe COBOL Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ, Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is for an experienced Mainframe Developer to participate in the full Software Development and Implementation Life Cycle. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in development, maintenance, and production support projects within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities: - Engage in the full software development life cycle, including development, maintenance, and production support
- Utilize problem-solving skills to succeed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in software development
- Experience with Mainframe (z/OS, TSO)
- Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, Store Procedures, MQ, CICS, SPUFI, ENDEVOR, VSAM, and ICETOOL
Desired skills: - Experience with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of Datastage or Core Java
Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
