Job Title: Software Engineering Intern Manufacturing Systems (MES)

Overview / Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated entry level candidates to join our Manufacturing Systems (MES) team as Software Engineering Interns. This internship offers hands-on experience in enterprise software development while supporting manufacturing operations. You will work alongside experienced engineers, learn modern software development practices, and contribute to real-world projects that support manufacturing, reliability, and R&D systems.
Ideal for graduates with coursework or project experience in C#, .NET, SQL, or object-oriented programming who are eager to learn enterprise software development. Prioritize candidates with strong problem-solving skills, good communication, and an interest in manufacturing systems (MES).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and enhancing software applications that support manufacturing operations.
- Help maintain and improve existing Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications.
- Support the integration of manufacturing systems with software solutions.
- Assist with troubleshooting software and application issues under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Help document technical issues, solutions, and system updates.
- Participate in software testing, debugging, and implementation activities.
- Learn and follow software development best practices, including version control and Agile processes.
- Collaborate with team members, administrators, and other departments on assigned tasks.
- Follow company safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
Required Qualifications
- Recent graduate or currently completing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Exposure to one or more programming languages such as C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, or SQL through coursework, academic projects, or internships.
- Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn enterprise software development and manufacturing systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
