Summary

Assistant Project Manager - Construction

Philadelphia, PA
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 (DOE)

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a confidential construction management firm seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support commercial, institutional, and public-sector construction projects throughout the Philadelphia area.
Responsibilities

Work with clients and project teams to plan, schedule, oversee, and manage project activities to ensure goals and timelines are achieved.
Assist with tracking and managing RFIs, submittals, cut sheets, and other project documentation.
Support project inspections and help manage field operations to ensure compliance with design standards and owner expectations.
Prepare daily reports, including weather logs, subcontractor manpower reports, safety documentation, equipment tracking, and other project records.
Assist with site safety efforts and support OSHA compliance initiatives.
Coordinate and maintain project site office requirements, including communications, internet access, office equipment, and related facilities.
Record and distribute meeting minutes as required.
Ensure required notices and postings are maintained and updated at project sites.
Assist with punch list activities, project closeout, and other project management duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related degree preferred; or
Minimum of two years of construction industry experience.
Construction site experience strongly preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work effectively in both office and field environments.
