Job Requirements Job Description: Enterprise ArchitectLocation: Davenport, IA, USA (3 days week onsite) Role SummaryThe Enterprise Architect provides strategic leadership in designing, documentation, and governance of the enterprise technology landscape. This role is responsible for bridging the gap between business strategy and technical execution, ensuring that our architectural standards facilitate scalable, secure, and performant solutions. The candidate will drive technical authority for architecture, design, and integration across our enterprise environment.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Architecture & Design:Lead the design and development of enterprise-wide integration architecture, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals and IT strategy.Define target-state architectures and technology roadmaps, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.Establish and enforce enterprise architecture standards, guidelines, and a library of reusable patterns.Technical Governance & Compliance:Lead Architecture Review Boards (ARB) and serve as a technical authority for architectural decisions and governance.Track solution design submissions, decisions, and exceptions, ensuring all designs align with the enterprise landscape.Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and architectural best practices.Research & Innovation:Conduct research on emerging technologies (e.g., Cloud, AI/ML, Integration patterns), summarizing findings into briefs and actionable recommendation notes.Assist in evaluating new tools, platforms, and third-party integrations to drive innovation.Technical & Functional SkillsCore Technical Expertise:Development Proficiency: Advanced experience in software engineering across Java and .NET ecosystems (C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC).Cloud Architecture: Deep expertise in AWS Cloud platforms; ability to design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud architectures.Database & Data Management: Strong understanding of database concepts, data modeling, schema design, and data flow Integration & Enterprise Design: Solid grasp of integration patterns (API-first design, event-driven architectures,Proficiency in Architecture modeling and visualization tools (e.g., Visio, BizzDesign, Archi).Deep understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and the ability to define domain-specific architecture blueprints.
