Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer – Big Data / Google Cloud Platform Cloud to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Big Data technologies, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Kubernetes, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), AWS, cloud networking, and application development.
The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting data-intensive applications and platforms. This position requires strong programming and debugging skills, along with the ability to work with complex code, APIs, analytics libraries, and distributed computing technologies.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Data Engineering and Big Data technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes/K8s.
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Understanding of cloud networking concepts.
- Strong programming/application development experience using Python, Java, Scala, or similar languages.
- Experience with API development and integration.
- Experience with distributed data processing technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar Big Data platforms.
- Strong understanding of data platforms and data-intensive applications.
- Excellent coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand, design, develop, and debug complex code.
