Harness Fabrication Technician In this role, you will:
- Work as a R&D Technician building self-driving technology this includes vehicle build, sub-assembly, PCBA solder/rework, and harness build/assembly
- Candidates must possess excellent documentation practices
- Work closely with Hardware Engineering and associated teams
- Follow safety standards and meet internal deadlines
- Work with limited oversight
- Seek continuing education and development opportunities
Required Qualifications- Minimum 5 years of direct experience in harness fabrication using 1:1 form boards and various tooling in R&D and prototype spaces
- Strong electrical skills, ability to read wiring schematics and layouts, redline drawings, and communicate with EDS design engineers
- Strong background in electrical wiring, harness building, and surface-mount circuit board assembly
- Strong understanding of electrical tools and equipment; crimpers, dies, multimeter, presses, connectors, contacts, wire gauges/types, soldering, microscope, etc.
- Exceptional craftsmanship with the ability to pin out and quality test harnesses/circuit boards
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, PLM, CAD, and various other software tools
- Must possess excellent communication skills and self awareness
- Ability to problem-solve, diagnose, analyze and isolate problems rationally
- Proficiency with Windows and Google productivity Suite specifically Sheets
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Approach work with a proactive, capable, and willingness attitude to solve problems and support peers
- Ability to multitask under pressure in an unstructured environment

- IPC J-STD-001
- IPC-A-600
- IPC-A-610
- IPC/WHMA-A-620
- IPC-7711/7721
- Certification and training in GD&T
