Job Description
We are seeking a Software Engineering - Cloud Services - Advanced professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud services, large-scale distributed systems, and Agile practices and a proven ability to design and deliver resilient, secure, and scalable platforms across multi-OS environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design and evolve cloud services and architectures for large-scale programs across multiple operating systems and infrastructures.
- Lead and contribute across the software development lifecycle using modern toolsets and engineering practices.
- Champion Agile methodologies and cultivate high-performing teams operating within Agile frameworks.
- Coach peers in at least one technical discipline and elevate engineering standards across teams.
- Implement and optimize Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, and cloud-native development practices.
- Embed resiliency and security into design and delivery to meet firm-wide standards and regulatory needs.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends and influence their practical adoption to support business outcomes.
- Represent the organization through thought leadership, including knowledge sharing, publications, or speaking engagements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Expertise in cloud services and distributed systems design and implementation.
- Hands-on proficiency across the software development lifecycle and modern DevOps toolchains.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, TDD, resiliency patterns, and security-by-design.
- Experience operating within large, multi-environment ecosystems with multiple operating systems and infrastructure layers.
- Proven Agile leadership and team cultivation capabilities.
- Effective communication and coaching abilities with cross-functional partners.
- Experience level: 7+ years in software engineering with significant cloud and platform responsibilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Public cloud experience (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-native services.
- Experience in large enterprise environments and firm-wide platform initiatives.
