Job Summary
The AWS Cloud Administrator is responsible for the design, administration, monitoring,
optimization, and support of Amazon Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA)
environments used for enterprise data integration, data engineering, analytics, and workflow orchestration. The role partners closely with Cloud, Data Engineering, DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure reliable, scalable, secure, and cost-effective workflow operations across AWS cloud platforms.
The position requires expertise in Apache Airflow, AWS services, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, cloud security, monitoring, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
MWAA Platform Administration
• Deploy, configure, and administer AWS MWAA environments.
• Manage Airflow versions, upgrades, patches, and environment lifecycle activities.
• Configure worker scaling, schedulers, plugins, and environment settings.
• Manage Airflow connections, variables, pools, and secrets.
• Perform capacity planning and performance tuning.
