Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Aruba ClearPass NAC Consultant to support Network Access Control (NAC) operations and implementation activities. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Aruba ClearPass, network authentication, endpoint access control, and troubleshooting at an L2 support level.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L2 support for Aruba ClearPass Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain ClearPass Policy Manager environments.
Manage 802.1X, MAC Authentication Bypass (MAB), RADIUS, and authentication policies.
Troubleshoot wired and wireless network access and authentication issues.
Configure and manage ClearPass enforcement and role-based access policies.
Work with network, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve NAC-related incidents.
Monitor authentication failures, endpoint profiling, posture checks, and policy enforcement.
Troubleshoot integrations with Active Directory, LDAP, RADIUS, switches, wireless controllers, and other network infrastructure.
Support onboarding and configuration of network devices and endpoints.
Analyze logs and identify root causes of authentication and connectivity issues.
Participate in NAC upgrades, configuration changes, testing, and deployments.
Document troubleshooting procedures, configurations, and operational processes.
Follow incident, change, and problem management processes.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Aruba ClearPass.
3 5+ years of experience in NAC Network Access Control.
Strong understanding of 802.1X, RADIUS, MAB, EAP, and AAA.
Experience with wired and wireless network authentication.
Knowledge of TCPIP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and network troubleshooting.
Experience integrating NAC with Active DirectoryLDAP.
Ability to troubleshoot ClearPass policies, authentication failures, and endpoint access issues.
Strong L2 troubleshooting and incident resolution skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
Aruba ClearPass certification or relevant Aruba networking certification.
Experience with Aruba switches and wireless infrastructure.
Knowledge of endpoint profiling and posture assessment.
Experience with enterprise NAC implementations and migrations.
ITILServiceNow experience is a plus.
