Cisco ISE Wired NAC Engineer (Remote)
Overview
The Cisco ISE Wired NAC Engineer will support Adobe by deploying, configuring, and operating Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) to enforce secure, policy driven access across the company s wired network infrastructure. This role is responsible for implementing enterprise grade NAC solutions, integrating ISE with core identity and network systems, and ensuring reliable, compliant access for users and devices. The engineer will play a key role in strengthening Adobe s security posture through consistent policy enforcement, proactive monitoring, and ongoing operational support.
Key Responsibilities
Cisco ISE Deployment Lead full lifecycle deployment of Cisco ISE for wired NAC, including design, configuration, testing, rollout, and post-deployment tuning across Adobe s global environment.
Policy Configuration Build, refine, and maintain authentication, authorization, and endpoint profiling policies to support secure access and device classification.
Operational Support Monitor system health, analyze logs, troubleshoot access issues, and optimize NAC performance to ensure reliability and compliance.
Integration Work Integrate Cisco ISE with Active Directory/LDAP, Cisco switching platforms, and other security tools to enable seamless identity-based access control.
Switch Configuration Support configuration of Cisco switches for 802.1X, MAB, VLAN assignment, and policy enforcement.
Documentation Create and maintain detailed documentation for configurations, policies, change management, troubleshooting procedures, and operational workflows.
Cross-Team Collaboration Partner closely with Adobe s network engineering, security operations, and identity teams to ensure consistent NAC deployment and alignment with enterprise security standards.
Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to enhance NAC effectiveness, streamline onboarding processes, and improve endpoint profiling accuracy.
Required Skills & Experience
Cisco ISE expertise with hands-on deployment and operations (Wired NAC only).
Strong understanding of 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, and endpoint profiling.
Experience with Cisco switching platforms and NAC integrations.
Ability to work independently in a remote capacity.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience supporting large enterprise environments.
Familiarity with broader Cisco security ecosystem.
