🚀 HIRING: Data Architect – SAP HANA / Supply Chain

📍 Location: Remote
💼 Contract Position

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect  to serve as the key bridge between Supply Chain business stakeholders and technical development teams.

This is a highly techno-functional role requiring strong expertise in SAP HANA/S/4HANA, Supply Chain processes, data architecture, SQL, Tableau, and enterprise analytics. The ideal candidate will have experience translating complex aerospace transactional-part processes into scalable data models and analytics solutions.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Define logical and semantic data architecture for supply chain analytics
• Analyze complex aerospace supply chain processes and transactional part lifecycles
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models
• Support SAP ECC → HANA/S/4HANA data architecture and analytics transformation
• Perform As-Is / To-Be analysis, gap analysis, data lineage, and data-granularity validation
• Design semantic layers and logical architecture for Tableau dashboards
• Use SQL to validate data models and ensure technical outputs meet business requirements.
• Partner with SAP functional teams, developers, and business stakeholders to resolve data integrity issues
• Support Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Procure-to-Pay (PTP) processes
• Identify opportunities to standardize data models across business units and source systems

🛠️ Required Technical Skills

• SAP HANA / S/4HANA – strong data architecture knowledge
• Understanding of SAP ECC vs. HANA/S/4HANA data models
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis
• Data modeling / semantic-layer architecture
• Tableau analytics and reporting architecture
• Experience with MS SQL and/or Teradata
• Strong requirements engineering and technical documentation skills

📦 Supply Chain / Functional Expertise

• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and ERP systems
• Experience with the SCOR (Supply Chain Operations Reference) model
• OTC and PTP process knowledge
• Understanding of transactional part lifecycles
• Experience with traceability, configuration management, and compliance

✈️ Industry Experience

Aerospace industry experience is highly preferred, particularly experience involving transactional parts, supply-chain data, traceability, configuration management, and compliance.

🎯 Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, supply chain management, or related field
• 5+ years of techno-functional experience bridging business analysis and data architecture
• Demonstrated experience with SAP HANA/S/4HANA implementations within logistics/supply chain
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Ability to translate complex business processes into scalable technical data solutions
