Director of Automation Engineering - REMOTE

We are hiring a Director of Automation Engineering to lead a growing team supporting complex infrastructure and industrial technology projects.

This person will oversee engineering execution, team leadership, technical standards, and cross-functional coordination across project delivery and field operations.

Responsibilities

Lead controls, automation, and integration engineering efforts.
Manage hiring, team development, utilization, budgets, and milestones.
Oversee commissioning support, technical quality, and issue escalation.
Improve documentation, workflows, and engineering consistency.
Partner with internal teams, vendors, and customers to support successful delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
10+ years of automation, controls, or systems integration experience.
7+ years of engineering leadership experience.
Strong experience with industrial control systems and technical project execution.
U.S. work authorization required; no third-party sponsorship.
