Job Summary
We are seeking a Grafana / Boomi Data Analyst and Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong hands-on experience in Boomi integration services, Grafana dashboards, data analysis, and observability.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Grafana dashboards that provide clear and actionable visibility into the performance, health, availability, and operational status of the Boomi platform and its integrations.
This role requires a strong understanding of both enterprise integration architecture and observability practices. The successful candidate will translate technical platform and integration data into meaningful dashboards, metrics, visualizations, and alerts that support incident response, troubleshooting, service monitoring, root-cause analysis, and operational decision-making.
Job Summary

The successful candidate will translate technical platform and integration data into meaningful dashboards, metrics, visualizations, and alerts that support incident response, troubleshooting, service monitoring, root-cause analysis, and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain advanced Grafana dashboards for the Boomi platform and associated integrations.
Develop dashboards to monitor:
Integration health
Transaction volumes
Processing times
Error rates
Failures and retries
Latency and throughput
Service availability
Define meaningful metrics, visualizations, thresholds, and alerts for Boomi integration monitoring.
Analyze Boomi platform and integration data to identify:
Performance issues
Recurring failures
Operational trends
Capacity concerns
Potential service risks
Collaborate with Integration, Application, Infrastructure, SRE, DevOps, and Operations teams to identify monitoring and reporting requirements.
Improve observability across integration processes, environments, runtimes, APIs, and distributed applications.
Configure and maintain Grafana alerting and notifications in alignment with operational support requirements.
Support incident investigation and root-cause analysis (RCA) through dashboards and data visualizations.
Validate dashboard data for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability.
Establish dashboard standards, templates, naming conventions, visualization guidelines, and documentation.
Document dashboard functionality, data sources, queries, alert logic, dependencies, and support procedures.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship on Grafana visualization and Boomi observability practices.
Identify opportunities to automate monitoring, reporting, alerting, and operational workflows.
Partner with engineering and operations teams to improve integration reliability, performance, and service availability.
Required Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience developing, configuring, and administering Grafana dashboards.
Strong hands-on experience with the Boomi integration platform.
Experience with Boomi integration processes, APIs, runtimes, and related platform components.
Experience monitoring enterprise integrations and distributed applications.
Strong understanding of integration and observability metrics, including:
Error rates
Failures
Retries
Latency
Throughput
Transaction volume
Processing time
Availability
Experience working with data sources used by Grafana, including time-series databases, logs, APIs, and relational databases.
Ability to create effective Grafana:
Dashboards
Queries
Visualizations
Variables
Drilldowns
Alerts
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Experience working with engineering, operations, application support, and infrastructure teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to translate complex technical data into clear and actionable operational insights.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Grafana Alerting and advanced notification configurations.
Experience with dashboard-as-code and observability automation.

Experience with enterprise observability and monitoring frameworks.
Relevant Grafana, Boomi, cloud, DevOps, or observability certifications.
