Summary

Position: Test Lead Automation

Location: SFO-CA Hybrid- two days per week

Job Description:

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of software testing experience, including proven experience leading complex integration-testing initiatives.
  • Strong hands-on experience testing ESB, middleware, APIs, microservices, and distributed system integrations.
  • Hands-on expertise with Playwright and TypeScript, including framework design, test maintenance, and debugging.
  • Experience with one or more enterprise integration platforms such as MuleSoft, IBM App Connect/Integration Bus, TIBCO, Boomi, or a comparable ESB platform.
  • Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP services, JSON, XML, message queues, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous processing.
  • Proficiency with API-testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured, or comparable tools.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in backend data validation, log analysis, and root-cause investigation.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery, sprint planning, defect management, test metrics, and release processes.
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate onsite/offshore QA teams in a fast-paced delivery environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with product, project, business, and technical stakeholders.
  • Must be available to work onsite in San Francisco two days per week.
