Summary

Job Title: IBM Guardium Consultant With SQL & Python

Location: Remote + 40% Travel

Required Skills

7+ years of experience in Data Security, Database Security, or Cybersecurity.
Strong hands-on experience with IBM Guardium administration and implementation.
Expertise in:

Database Activity Monitoring (DAM)
Vulnerability Assessment (VA)
Data Discovery & Classification
Policy Management
Compliance Monitoring
Audit Reporting
Security Policy Configuration

Advanced SQL skills for querying, troubleshooting, and reporting.
Strong Python programming skills for scripting, automation, and reporting.
Experience securing enterprise databases including Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
Knowledge of database security concepts, encryption, masking, and access control.
Experience integrating IBM Guardium with SIEM and monitoring platforms.
Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and least-privilege principles.
Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments.
Experience using Git and version control systems.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Educational Qualifications:

Required - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.
Preferred - Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.

Travel:

· Open to travel based up on the nature of the engagement.
