Job Title: Software Engineering - Full Stack Developer - Intermediate
Location: Wilmington, DE

Duration: Contract - 8 months
Pay Range: $65/hr - $70/hr (W2)

Job Description
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AWS, React.js, Java Spring Boot, Kafka or other event-driven technologies, Terraform, and Oracle/SQL databases and a proven ability to design, build, and deploy scalable services and front-end applications that meet business goals.
Team and Product Context:
You will join a collaborative engineering team focused on solving business problems through modern engineering practices. The team supports a firm-wide Privacy Product platform that manages data privacy requests with support for jurisdictional variations and line-of-business distinctions where appropriate.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java Spring Boot and React.js.
- Build event-driven services and data pipelines leveraging Kafka or similar technologies.
- Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and deploy solutions on AWS.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing software across the SDLC.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- AWS hands-on experience and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for backend services.
- Front-end development with React.js.
- Event-driven architecture using Kafka or comparable technologies.
- Database development with Oracle and SQL, including schema and query optimization.
- Development tools: IntelliJ, Swagger, Avro, SQL Developer/Toad, and code assist tools such as GitHub Copilot or Windsurf.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an application developer.
Preferred Skills:
- AI-assisted development tools experience.
- Experience working in Agile teams with continuous improvement practices.
