Overview:
This position is for a senior-level resource with hands-on experience using the AWS Transform tool specifically to generate Mainframe Reverse Engineering artifacts. If the candidate also possesses PySpark experience, the engagement may be extended to support Forward Engineering development activities.

Required Skillset:

▪ Strong experience with IBM Mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and batch processing, with expertise in analyzing legacy applications, business rules, data flows, system dependencies, and technical processes.
▪ Proven ability to perform application discovery, reverse engineering, source-to-target mapping, dependency analysis, technical documentation, and modernization planning for large-scale enterprise systems. Experience generating reverse engineering artifacts using AWS modernization tools is highly preferred.
▪ Experience supporting mainframe modernization and AWS cloud transformation initiatives, collaborating with business SMEs, developers, and architects while ensuring critical business functionality is preserved during migration. Knowledge of AI-assisted code analysis tools is a plus.
