Role Title: Mainframe Storage Engineer

Role Description:
Seeking an experienced Mainframe Storage Engineer to support a highly available enterprise mainframe environment. This individual will be responsible for IBM storage and tape infrastructure, data replication, backup and recovery, capacity management, and resiliency initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IBM mainframe storage technologies and be able to contribute quickly with minimal ramp-up time. The engineer will work closely with infrastructure and engineering teams to maintain storage availability, improve capacity reporting, and support ongoing cyber resiliency and disaster recovery initiatives.

-IBM Mainframe Storage & Tape
-IBM tape hardware and TS7780 cluster/tape management
-Experience supporting enterprise z/OS storage environments
-GDPS & Storage Replication
-Global Mirror
-Metro Mirror
-Replication, disaster recovery, and high-availability concepts
-CA Disk & CA Vantage UDM
-Strong experience with CA Disk backup and recovery
-Capacity reporting, trending, storage utilization, and chargeback reporting
Preferred/Bonus Skills: IBM Safeguarded Copy, IBM Z cyber resiliency, forensic recovery/testing, and experience working within large financial-services environments.
