Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced Cloud Operations Specialist with 12 years of hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure and operations. The candidate will possess deep technical expertise on technologies like AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Control-M scheduling, and Gitlab CI/CD enterprise activities. The role involves managing production environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability, and enabling automation-driven operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in monitoring/observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Dynatrace, along with exposure to ServiceNow dashboards and ITSM workflows. This role combines troubleshooting expertise, operational knowledge, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional support and guidance.
Key Responsibilities:Cloud & Infrastructure Operations
Provide Level 2/3/4 technical support for AWS cloud infrastructure issues and incidents
Troubleshoot and resolve Kubernetes (EKS) deployment, configuration, and operational issues
Diagnose and resolve CI/CD pipeline failures in GitLab CI environments
Support teams with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) implementation and issues
Analyse infrastructure logs, metrics, and traces to identify root causes
Respond to and escalate critical incidents with appropriate urgency and documentation.
Batch Scheduling & Job Management (Control-M)
Monitor and manage Control-M jobs and workflows
Troubleshoot:
o Job failures
o Dependency issues
o Scheduling delays
Maintain and update runbooks for batch operations
