We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX / PL/SQL Integration Developer to support an enterprise modernization initiative focused on replacing legacy Oracle Database Link (DB Link) integrations with secure API- and middleware-based integration patterns.
MUST-HAVE SKILLS
✅ 6+ years of Oracle development/integration experience
✅ Strong hands-on Oracle APEX, PL/SQL & SQL
✅ Experience with Oracle Database Links (DB Links) and legacy database integrations
✅ Strong REST API development, consumption & troubleshooting
✅ Enterprise integration and middleware experience
✅ Strong code review, debugging & defect analysis skills
✅ Unit, integration, regression & end-to-end testing experience
✅ API testing / automation experience preferred
✅ Strong database, integration & performance troubleshooting skills
✅ Excellent communication and technical documentation
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
🔹 Analyze legacy DB Link integrations, dependencies, data flows & interfaces
🔹 Develop and support Oracle APEX, PL/SQL & SQL components
🔹 Design, develop and consume REST APIs
🔹 Support API and middleware-based integration solutions
🔹 Review contractor-developed code for defects, security and performance issues
🔹 Develop and execute comprehensive test cases
🔹 Coordinate testing across internal systems and third-party data consumers
🔹 Troubleshoot integration, database, data-quality and performance issues
🔹 Ensure deliverables meet technical, security and software quality standards
MODERNIZATION FOCUS
Legacy Oracle DB Links ➡️ Secure APIs + Middleware
Experience replacing DB Link-based integrations with API-driven or middleware-based solutions is highly preferred.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
U.S. Citizenship Required
Level 4 Security Clearance Required
