Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle SCM Order Management Cloud Functional Consultant with 15+ years of Oracle ERP/SCM experience and strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Order Management.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, Oracle Fusion Order Management implementation and transformation projects, business process analysis, functional configuration, integrations, testing, and production support.
This role requires a senior-level consultant who can work independently with business stakeholders, lead functional discussions, translate business requirements into Oracle Cloud solutions, and provide guidance across the broader Oracle SCM ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional design and implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud Order Management solutions.
- Own and drive the Order-to-Cash (O2C) business process across the Oracle SCM ecosystem.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from business and functional stakeholders.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend Oracle Cloud best-practice solutions.
- Configure Oracle Fusion Order Management Cloud based on business requirements.
- Design and support complex order orchestration processes, including:
- Order capture
- Order fulfillment
- Order promising
- Scheduling
- Shipping
- Invoicing
- Returns and cancellations
- Backorders
- Holds and approvals
- Work closely with Inventory, Procurement, Manufacturing, Pricing, Product Management, Shipping, and Financials teams.
- Configure and support integrations between Order Management and other Oracle Fusion modules.
- Analyze and troubleshoot functional and integration issues in Oracle Cloud.
- Develop functional specifications for technical development and integrations.
- Work with technical teams on REST/SOAP APIs, web services, FBDI, file-based integrations, and middleware.
- Lead SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, and production deployment activities.
- Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, process documentation, and training materials.
- Participate in data conversion and validation activities.
- Support cutover, go-live, hypercare, and post-production stabilization.
- Provide functional leadership and mentoring to junior and mid-level Oracle consultants.
- Collaborate with offshore/onshore teams and client stakeholders across multiple time zones.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and Oracle Cloud standardization.
Required Technical & Functional Skills
Oracle Fusion SCM
- 15+ years of overall Oracle ERP/SCM experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Order Management
- Extensive Oracle Order Management / OM functional experience
- Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations, upgrades, or migrations

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM certification preferred.
- Experience leading at least 2–3 full-cycle Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations.
- Experience in large-scale global Oracle Cloud transformation programs.
- Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid delivery environments.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud quarterly release management.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud testing and release validation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be a 15+ year Oracle SCM professional who combines deep Order Management functional expertise with strong knowledge of the complete Order-to-Cash lifecycle.
The candidate should be capable of acting as a Senior Functional Lead / SME, working directly with client stakeholders, owning requirements and solution design, guiding technical teams, and taking responsibility for successful delivery from discovery through implementation, go-live, and production support.
