Role : PLM Technology Associate Program Director /Delivery Manager

The PLM Technology Associate Program Director /Delivery Manager is a primary Customer facing role that is responsible for managing related pre-sales activities, requirements gathering, solution planning, project execution, solution implementation, go-live and post go-live support, as well as project close and transition of support back to Customer IT & Business teams, according to strict deadlines and within defined budget. Should have worked on PTC Windchill Implementation, migration, upgrade projects and exposure to the medical devices industry. Needs to have sound knowledge and exposure on UDI and Regulatory Hub related topics.
In addition, manages cost estimation, resource & budget planning, along with resource coordination of efforts for both onshore, offshore, and Customer team members as well as any third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.
This highly visible role demands a “high quality” and “first time right” delivery mindset, meaning that risk identification, management, avoidance, mitigation, and recovery are critical to the everyday management of activities driving the project and technical teams.
Must have superior communication skills and consulting affect intended for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, along with a sound understanding of enterprise systems and overall coordination of same.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, project estimation, and project transition from sales team to delivery teams.
• Directly manage internal and external project initiation and mobilization activities
• Regularly communicate to all levels of Company and Customer organization
• Define and document project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents
• Effectively communicate project expectations to project team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
• Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
• Determine and assess need for additional project staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary, during project cycle.
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s/r master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 20+ years direct work experience in a Delivery Management, Practice management, project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
• Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft Project
• Exposure to Medical Devices Industry and delivered projects in that space with knowledge around UDI and Regulatory Hub.
• Competent and proficient understanding of enterprise-wide solutions, such as ERP, PLM and others.
