Job: Profee Outpatient Coder - Wound Care - 9224025 - New Mexico Role
Location: 100% Remote | Must reside in TX, LA, AR, GA, or NM
Pay Rate: $30/hr W2
Employment Type: Temp to Perm
Certification: CPC required
Pre-Employment: All candidates require special fingerprinting
Requirements
- Current CPC certification
- Professional fee outpatient coding experience with a strong focus on wound care
- Strong ICD-10-CM and CPT coding knowledge for outpatient diagnoses and procedures
- Experience reviewing clinical documentation, diagnostic results, and physician documentation for accurate code assignment
- Demonstrated ability to maintain 95%+ coding accuracy
- High school diploma or equivalent
Plusses
- Experience coding provider office visits, therapeutic services, laboratory, recurring visits, emergency department, observation, or ambulatory surgery encounters
- Experience resolving coding-related denials, charging issues, or physician documentation questions
- Experience supporting accurate billing and denial reduction across multiple outpatient service areas
