Summary

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple business and technology initiatives from initial discovery through implementation and operational handoff. This person will partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs, pain points, and current-state challenges, help define the project and solution approach, and then build and manage the plan needed to drive successful delivery.

Projects may include commercial software solutions, vendor-led implementations, digital platforms, business applications, workflow improvements, and other technology-enabled business initiatives. The ideal candidate is a practical, business-facing PM who is comfortable working across Business, Product, Technology, and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Lead multiple concurrent projects from initiation through implementation and handoff.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand business problems, goals, current-state processes, and gaps before defining project requirements.
Facilitate discovery sessions to establish scope, priorities, success criteria, and project approach.
Build and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, estimates, budgets, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
Support roadmap development, including project sequencing, dependencies, and current-state/future-state planning.
Develop process flows and workflows to help stakeholders understand how solutions and processes will operate.
Partner with Product, Technology, and business teams to evaluate and implement practical solutions, including commercial software and third-party vendor products.
Manage vendors and implementation partners, including deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and escalations.
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and keep teams aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify and manage risks, issues, blockers, scope changes, and competing priorities.
Provide clear status reporting, dashboards, project documentation, and executive-level updates.
Support testing, change management, implementation readiness, user adoption, and operational handoff.
Help improve project management processes and delivery practices as the PMO continues to evolve.

Qualifications

5+ years of Project Management experience, preferably within a corporate PMO or similar cross-functional environment.
Experience managing business and technology projects from initial discovery through implementation.
Strong project initiation skills, including identifying business needs, defining scope, and establishing project plans and success criteria.
Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Experience with business applications, digital platforms, commercial software, and/or vendor-led technology implementations.
Experience with roadmap development, process mapping, and workflow design.
Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
Experience working with Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid project methodologies.
Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Wrike, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
PMP, CSM, or related certification is a plus.
