Job Description

Manage and maintain data catalogs, metadata, business glossaries, data definitions, ownership, stewardship, classifications, business rules, and data lineage.
Collaborate with Business/Data Stewards, Data Owners, subject matter experts, and technical teams to gather, validate, document, and maintain business and technical metadata.
Support data governance and data stewardship processes, including governance workgroups, standards, guidelines, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
Promote the adoption and effective use of Collibra, including data asset curation, metadata maintenance, business glossary management, and governance content administration.
Develop governance metrics and reports while supporting data quality, lineage, and documentation.

Required Skills

Experience with data governance, data stewardship, metadata management, data catalogs, business glossaries, and data quality.
Hands-on experience with Collibra strongly preferred.
Experience gathering, validating, documenting, and maintaining business and technical metadata.
Experience collaborating with Business/Data Stewards, Data Owners, subject matter experts, and technical stakeholders.
Experience developing process documentation, standards, procedures, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
Strong analytical, organizational, facilitation, written, and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Collibra user training, data asset curation, metadata management, and business glossary administration.
Experience with similar data governance or data catalog tools.
Exposure to Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI, or ArcGIS.
Experience documenting data lineage and relationships between source systems, data warehouses, and reporting or analytics platforms.
