ROLE: Senior Python Developer

ROLE SUMMARY:
Design, build, and operate high-throughput backend services that power enterprise applications. You will own API design, data layer decisions, and service reliability, and raise engineering standards across the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and build scalable, secure, maintainable APIs, microservices, and business logic
Own data layer decisions: SQL/NoSQL modeling, query optimization, caching, and data integrity
Ensure reliability and performance through monitoring, load testing, and tuning of low-latency services
Drive best practices: code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and mentoring junior engineers
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
10+ years building enterprise backend services, including 5+ years of hands-on backend development
Strong Python with Django or Flask. Node.js (Express/NestJS) or Go is a plus
REST and GraphQL API design. gRPC and OpenAPI/Swagger experience
PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis
Messaging and streaming: Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS
AWS or Google Cloud Platform, Docker, and Kubernetes
CI/CD with Jenkins or GitLab CI
Testing with PyTest or JUnit, Postman, and load testing (JMeter or Gatling)
OAuth2/JWT, encryption standards, and secure coding practices
Microservices, event-driven design, and distributed systems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Exposure to integrating LLM or GenAI services into backend systems
Experience with observability stacks (tracing, metrics, alerting)
