We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team in a hands-on development capacity with an opportunity to gradually transition into a Technical Lead role. Candidates with prior lead, mentoring, or team guidance experience are highly preferred.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Java
- Spring Boot and Microservices
- JSP / Servlets
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- HTML / CSS
- Experience using GitHub Copilot and Claude or similar AI-assisted development tools
- Strong software development and problem-solving skills
- Experience mentoring developers or providing technical guidance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Azure
- GitHub Actions
- Java application modernization and migration
- Application decommissioning
- Previous Technical Lead / Lead Developer experience
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain enterprise Java applications
- Design and implement Spring Boot microservices
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
- Support Java modernization and migration initiatives
- Participate in application decommissioning efforts
- Collaborate with development and technical teams
- Gradually take on Technical Lead responsibilities
