Senior Network Engineer
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support and maintain complex enterprise network and infrastructure environments. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong routing, switching, firewall, VPN, and troubleshooting experience who can support critical infrastructure while contributing to network improvements and long-term planning.

Location: Remote Must work PST hours
Duration: 6+ month contract
Compensation: $60 70/hr W2
What You ll Do:
- Troubleshoot complex network issues across LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, server, and enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Configure, maintain, upgrade, and support switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, wireless technologies, and related network infrastructure.
- Support routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, HSRP, VRRP, VLANs, VXLAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IPsec, TACACS, and RADIUS.
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to support connectivity, infrastructure projects, system implementations, and site-to-site VPN configurations.
- Create and maintain network architecture, topology, operational, troubleshooting, and escalation documentation.
What Gets You the Job:
- 6+ years of experience managing and troubleshooting enterprise LAN/WAN environments, including hands-on configuration of switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless technologies.
- Strong experience with networking technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, IPsec, DNS, DHCP, TACACS, RADIUS, and IP addressing/subnetting.
- Experience with enterprise networking platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, F5 BIG-IP, Fortinet/FortiGate, and/or pfSense/Netgate.
- Experience with Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi, XenServer, or Proxmox, and automation/scripting tools such as Ansible, YAML, and shell scripting.
- Proven ability to independently troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and collaborate effectively with technical teams and vendors.
Must be available to work regular Pacific Time business hours, with occasional on-call, evening, or weekend support as needed.
