About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Platform Architect – Kubernetes to lead the design, scaling, and governance of our hybrid and cloud-native container platforms. In this role, you will architect secure, multi-tenant environments spanning on-premises Kubernetes and Microsoft Azure AKS, while pioneering AI-enabled platform engineering practices. Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain high-availability on-premises Kubernetes clusters, including lifecycle management, upgrades, networking, storage, security, and deep troubleshooting.
Architect and manage enterprise-grade Kubernetes environments on Microsoft Azure (AKS).
Drive multi-tenant Kubernetes strategies, implement container hardening best practices, and integrate AI-enabled platform engineering practices.
Champion platform automation via Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), GitOps, and advanced CI/CD pipelines.
Standardize tooling and practices using Helm, FluxCD, Prometheus, Grafana, and modern observability stacks.
Establish architectural standards, security guidelines, and scalability frameworks across both on-premises and cloud platforms.
Leverage a deep background in Linux, containerization, core networking, IAM/RBAC, and 24/7 production operations.
Must-Have Qualifications
Extensive hands-on architecture and engineering experience with on-premises Kubernetes (high-availability cluster design, upgrades, networking, storage, security, observability, and troubleshooting).
Strong, demonstrable experience designing and managing Microsoft Azure AKS.
Deep expertise in multi-tenant Kubernetes environments, container hardening, and AI-enabled platform engineering practices.
Strong experience with platform automation using Terraform/IaC, GitOps, CI/CD, and ecosystem tools such as Helm, FluxCD, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Proven ability to design secure, scalable Kubernetes platforms and establish standards across both on-premises and cloud environments.
Strong background in Linux administration, containerization, networking, IAM/RBAC, and production operations.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GKE).
Experience supporting AI/ML or GPU-based workloads on Kubernetes.
Professional certifications such as CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer), or other relevant cloud certifications.
