Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with strong expertise in Python application development, cloud-native architectures, and application deployment across modern cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, deployment, and support of scalable, secure, and high-performing applications while mentoring development teams and driving engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in software application development, with 3+ years in a Technical Lead role.
Strong programming expertise in Python with hands-on experience developing enterprise applications.
Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering principles.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-native application development.
Experience deploying and managing applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with source control systems such as Git.
Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and microservices.
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cloud SQL.
Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Monitoring, or Open Telemetry.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications using Python.
Lead end-to-end software delivery, including requirements analysis, design, coding, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
Architect and build cloud-native solutions on platforms preferably Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
Develop and consume RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven applications.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Implement application monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning using modern observability tools.
Mentor and guide development teams by conducting code reviews and promoting engineering best practices.
Ensure application security by implementing authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding standards.
Drive adoption of Agile methodologies and participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical design discussions.
Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability.
