UMR/ROG Technology are seeking a senior software engineering professional to work in the Global Markets Technology division of Client. The successful candidate will work closely with our technical, operations and business partners to define requirements, design, develop, implement, and support key business applications. The role requires the developer to collaborate and work with teams across several regions therefore must possess strong communication skills and be adaptable

responsibilities:
1- Work individually or part of a team on developing, supporting, enhancing, extending, testing, and delivering existing and new software
2- Collaborate and work with multi-regional teams using Agile best practices
3- Participate in software design, developement, testing, L3 support, requirements gathering and creating functional specifications documents
qualifications:
Required Skills
1-Excellent server side development skills with 10+ years of experience in Python and Quartz or similar proprietary tech (e.g. Sec DB, Athena, Beacon etc)
2-Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design Patterns skills
3-Familiarity of Gen AI tech stack - GitHub Copilot, Copilot Studio, Agentic AI, MCP, FastAPI etc
4-Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
5-Excellent attention to details
6-Strong team player with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
7-Good understanding of Financial Derivatives (Swaps, Futures, FX, Emerging Markets products..)
8-Good understanding of testing concepts (TDD, BDD ...)
9-Possess a solid degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, or relevant analytical degree
Experience on trading/risk platforms and understanding of derivatives is desirable.
