Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP EWM Functional Consultant to join a large-scale SAP transformation and implementation program. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on functional expert with strong experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), capable of leading solution design, configuration, implementation, and global deployment activities.
This role is focused on large-scale transformation and solution delivery, rather than routine production support. The consultant will work as part of a global implementation team supporting the deployment and standardization of SAP EWM processes across a complex, multi-site warehouse environment.
The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of warehouse and supply chain business processes, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP EWM solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of overall SAP functional experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP EWM experience.
- Strong experience with at least 2 full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations.
- Proven experience in SAP EWM solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production go-live.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and distribution business processes.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Inbound and outbound processing
- Putaway and picking strategies
- Warehouse task and warehouse order management
- Physical inventory
- Handling Unit Management
- Internal warehouse processes
- RF/mobile warehouse processes
- Exception management
- Strong understanding of SAP EWM integration with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP supply chain modules.
- Experience conducting workshops, gathering requirements, and performing fit-gap analysis.
- Experience creating functional design documents and working with ABAP and integration teams.
- Strong experience supporting SIT, UAT, cutover, deployment, and hypercare activities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global and cross-functional teams.
